Chinese Chestnuts

Chinese chestnut is an emerging new tree crop for Missouri and the Midwest. When we started our orchard the first trees planted were Chinese Chestnut trees. We took great pride in our first nut tree then developed more advanced education on growing. Today with the use of our soil microbes we are the first in the state to show great success in nut production and even more impressive the number of pollinators that the orchard is seeing. After this we started with the other plants into the orchard and planted between the chestnut trees. This is proven very successful especial with soil biodiversity and understanding of sharing of energy underground between roots and fungi.

PGPR was how I started on this course of understanding just how important the soil was and how the trees will benefit.
